This year’s line-up of monster trucks includes trucks with themes that kids of all ages love, including dump trucks (Dirt Crew), bulldozers (Dozer), building blocks (Blockhead), gladiators (Maximus), and Dinosaurs (Jurassic Attack and Velociraptor).  Plus, the freestyle motocross team will once again wow fans with their high-flying motorcycle tricks and stunts!  Everyone involved with this event is family-oriented and the focus is on making sure that everyone leaves happy-the Toughest Monster Truck Tour drivers always stay after the event to sign autographs after the event until everyone who wants one gets one, just in case you missed someone during the pit party.

This thrilling show is fun for the whole family. Watch monster trucks do crazy stunts in the toughest show on wheels! The Toughest Monster Truck Tour is unlike anything you can experience at a stadium. Below, we share with you our top tips for attending the show! Being prepared will set you up for the best show yet.

Here are our 5 top tips for attending the Toughest Monster Truck Tour!

Bring Noise Protection

You will want noise protection for the show, especially for younger children and those sensitive to noise. The show is LOUD, which is part of the fun! We recommend bringing noise protection for adults, too! You don’t have to use it, but it’s nice to have in case you need it. Our favorite noise-canceling earmuffs for kids are durable, adjustable, and have plenty of cushion for comfort.

Wear Warm Clothing

Bring layers! It won’t be very warm inside during the show. Make sure you wear layers that you can either take off or add, depending on how you feel.

Pack Everything in a Clear Bag

The Denny Sanford Premier Center has a clear bag policy! Make sure to pack everything you need into the right-sized clear bag, or you will be sent back to your car. If you need a clear stadium bag, we recommend this one here; it’s especially great for those who need to carry more. You can also use a gallon-sized zip bag if you need less room. We love a crossbody bag, and this clear one here is great, too.

This includes diaper bags! Bring the essentials for the event in your clear bag. Leave your stroller in the car as well.

Buy the Pit Pass

A pit pass lets you see the Monster Trucks and drivers on the dirt before the show starts. Getting up close to the trucks really helps put their size into perspective! Experiencing being out on the dirt elevates your experience. Pit Passes can be purchased for the show or picked up for FREE at the Washington Pavilion.

Get Some Little Monster Trucks

Get yourself some little Monster Trucks for your kiddos! Getting them in advance will help get your kids excited for the show. After the show ends, your kiddos will ask for some Monster Truck toys, so you might as well be prepared! Bring little ones that fit in your hand to hold during the show. We love this pack of monster trucks

Enjoy the Show!

We hope that you have a blast at the tour and that you are prepared to fully enjoy the show. For those of you who have not attended in the past, we recommend watching a few videos online before you go. It’s loud, and there are a lot of flashing lights at times. Preparing your kids beforehand about what to expect can help ensure a fun evening!
