May is a busy month for many families! School is wrapping up, summer is about to bring its on own activities and routines, and the weather is usually in a perfect place. May in the Sioux Falls Area
Starting Off
Kicking off May you can find the second show of Annie at the Washington Pavilion on May 1st. This show would be a perfect introduction into professional theater for the kiddos in your family!
Bill Nye the Science Guy will be at the Washington Pavilion on May 2nd. Many of us remember Bill Nye being playing in our classrooms growing up after the teacher rolled out the TV on wheels! Relive a bit of your childhood with this show.
The historic Howard Wood Relays will be on May 3rd and 4th this year. It’s the 99th year of this competitive track meet! See the best track and field athletes in our Area at this event.
The Falls Park Farmers Market is open every Saturday from May-October from 8am-1pm. Enjoy the first Farmers Market of the season on May 4th! After enjoying the Farmers Market, stroll over to Falls Park or check out the Stockyards!
May 11th and 12 is a Full Weekend!

Chris Stapleton will be at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on May 24th for his “All-American Road Show” tour! If you are a County Music fan, you won’t want to miss this concert.
The Washington Pavilion will be hosting its fundraising gala on May 30th. The Pavilion will be celebrating their 25th Anniversary this weekend of May/June!
