Many people are readjusting to the school schedule, the calendar is filling up with fall sports and activities, and we are all trying to soak in the last bits of warm weather before the cold comes sweeping in.

Fall Festivals
Fall festivals have arrived! These festivals are a great way to enjoy the beautiful fall weather with your family. Make sure to check out the Big Top Weekend at the County Apple Orchard on September 6th-8th. Country Apple Orchard’s fall fun will be open all of September and October.
The Pumpkin Festival weekends at Riverview Tree Farm opens up the weekend of September 28th and 29th. The pumpkin festivals run for four weeks.
Head down to Yankton to check out Mazing Acres and their Fall Festival! They open the weekend of September 14th and are open on Saturdays and Sundays. Their closing weekend is October 27th.
Head up to Brookings to check out their one-day fall festival event, Fall for Downtown, they are hosting downtown on September 14th.

Farmers Markets
September is an amazing month for farmers’ markets! Check out Brandon’s Pumpkin Palozza-themed Farmers Market this Month, enjoy the market found at the Oxbow Wellness Center, or enjoy a Saturday morning at the Falls.
Music and Comedy
Your last chance to enjoy the live music of the 2024 Levitt at the Falls Series is this month! Check out Las Guaracheras on Friday, September 13th. The closing act for the summer series is Marcella Simien on Saturday, September 14th.
Comedian Charlie Berens will be performing on September 12th at the Washington Pavillion.
Jim Graffgin is coming to town! Get ready for a great date night out on September 14th at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.
Family Fun
The Sioux Falls Parks and Rec will be hosting their Touch-a-Truck event at Haromond Park on September 20th. This event is free and is sure to be a hit for many families.
Dive into the fall with the Great Plains Zoo’s Falling for Animals event on September 21st.
SiouxperCon is back with their 2024 theme of Happily Ever After. This event runs for three days at the convention center, September 27th-29th.
The New Directions is hosting the 24th Annual Buddy Walk on September 14th at Paisley Park. Registration is free to support this amazing organization.
New to Sioux Falls this year is SoDak Circuit! Join in on this esports event that will be at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. The event is on September 21st and registration is filling up fast.
