Fall Fun

    Junkin Market’s Fall Event is happening October 11th and 12th this year at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall. 

    Halloween events are coming in strong! There are a ton of truck-and-treats, trick-or-treats, and Halloween events happening this month. Check out our calendar to see dozens of events.  A sample is below!



    Music

    The band for KING + COUNTRY will be at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on October 4th for their Unsung Hero Tour. 

    Also in Sioux Falls on October 4th is Ben Folds at the Washington Pavilion. 

    PINK! Is coming to Sioux Falls. Enjoy PINK live on October 21st at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. 

    Family Fun

    Enjoy learning to fish at the Outdoor Campus on October 8th during a Family Fishing class! Remember that all the classes at the Outdoor Campus are free, you just have to register! 

    Enjoy an afternoon of fun with The Big Event, hosted by the Girl Scouts. Learn during interactive sessions and explore science fun with different vendors. 

    Looking for some kid-friendly, but still spooky, Halloween Fun? Check out the Jaycees Feargrounds on October 13th for their Kids day! 

    Celebrate Native American Day on October 14th by attending the Native American Day Parade! The Parade starts at 11am and is followed by the Wacipi at the Levitt at the Falls. 

    Head over to the Great Plains Zoo for ZooBOO on October 18th-20th! Trick-or-Treat at the Zoo and enjoy all the extra fun planned. Join in on the Family Fun Boo Run on Friday Night. 

    Speaking of the Great Plains Zoo, they have a Community Day Event on October 14th! Admission is just $5. 

    Find ‘hood on October 26th at the Washington Pavillion of their Spooky Science Day! Costumes for kids are encouraged but not required. 

    Explore the Spooky Seas on October 26th with the Butterfly House and Aquarium. 

    End the month with a family show at the Washington Pavilion! Shrek the Musical will be at the Washinton Pavilion on October 26th.
