Question: My child is interested in hunting, but I have never gone. Can the Outdoor Campus help?
Yes! The Outdoor Campus offers a unique program called: Hunting 101.
This program takes you through:
1. Learning how to purchase a license (Apprentice, Mentor, or Youth Deer Tag).
2. Time at the range learning safety.
3. Being mentored in the field by a Game, Fish and Parks staff or volunteer.
4. If a successful harvest, time processing the deer.
Do I need my own equipment?
– No, we will provide all the equipment needed for the program.
Is there a cost associated with this program?
– The only cost associated with the program is your time and the cost of the tag.
