St. Patrick’s Day is coming up on Sunday, March 17th! Make sure to wear your green clothing and enjoy the holiday. Celebrate the day with some fun breakfast ideas, or try making corned beef and cabbage for the first time!

For those looking to get out and about, we rounded up some of the family-friendly events that are happening in Sioux Falls! 

The 44th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be in downtown Sioux Falls on Saturday, March 16th. The traditional painting of the Shamrock will happen at 11 am in front of First National Bank Downtown, with the parade starting at 2 pm. 

Enjoy some Irish music at the Old Courthouse Museum on March 16th! Take in the traditional Irish music, pipes, drums, and dancing. The event runs from 3:30 to 6:30, and admission is free. They will have a concessions stand available, so bring some cash!

Take in a St. Patrick’s Day game with the Sioux Falls Stampede! They play on the evening of St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th. It’s sure to be a great game, and it’s also the night they celebrate Stomp’s Birthday. 

Saturday morning, the 16th, take your toddler to the Luck of the Irish Bash! Hosted by the Sioux Falls Parks and Rec Department. Your little one will love working on some art, running through the obstacle course for a pot of gold, and more! Registration is required (along with a fee).
