Fall sports season will be here before we know it, and many Sioux Falls area organizations are already accepting registrations. Whether your child is interested in volleyball, football, soccer, baseball, basketball, or lacrosse, now is the time to secure a spot before teams fill up and late fees kick in.

Sioux Empire Baseball Association (SEBA) 

SEBA offers baseball opportunities for athletes of various ages and skill levels throughout the Sioux Falls area.

Registration Deadline: Registration for their second summer session closes on July 3rd. 

Season Begins: Week of July 20th

YMCA Youth Lacrosse

Lacrosse continues to grow in popularity across the Sioux Falls area. The YMCA program focuses on skill development and introducing athletes to the sport in a fun environment.

Registration Deadline: July 8th

Season Begins: September 10

EmBe Fall Volleyball

Open to boys and girls in grades 3-6, EmBe’s recreational volleyball league focuses on skill development, teamwork, and fun competition.

Registration Deadline: July 13, 2026 at 5 p.m.

Season: September-November

FCA Girls-Only Flag Football

One of the fastest-growing sports opportunities in the region, this league welcomes girls interested in learning football fundamentals and competing in a supportive environment.

Registration Deadline: July 15th for regular registration

Late Registration: Available till August 3rd with a $25 late fee, if they have availability

Sanford Sports Fall Youth Volleyball League

Athletes in grades 4-8 can participate in weekly practices, Saturday matches, and an end-of-season tournament at the Sanford Pentagon.

Registration Deadline: August 1, 2026 (Early Bird Discount if registered by July 1st)

Season: August 23-October 24

Dakota Spirit Cheer Teams

Whether your child is brand new to cheerleading or ready for a competitive team experience, Dakota Spirit offers opportunities for athletes of all ages and skill levels. 

Registration Deadline: Registration for the 2026-27 team season is currently open. Registration opened up on May 1st for All-Star Prep and All-Star Elite Teams. Registration opened up on June 1st for Prep Teams and Performance Teams. 

Why Register Soon: Team evaluations and placements for many programs take place before the season begins, and athletes interested in joining should register soon.

Jr. Skyforce Youth Basketball

The popular Sioux Falls YMCA basketball league is preparing for another season of youth hoops.
