How To


  • 2 cans of chickpeas (15 oz each), drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste*Remember, it’s your food! If you don’t like one of the spices listed above, then leave it out! 


  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. 
  • Thoroughly rinse and drain the chickpeas. Pat dry.
  • Combine chickpeas with olive oil, ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated with the seasonings.
  • Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet, making sure that they have room to roast. 
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy. Shake the pan a few times throughout the cooking process for an even crunch.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
