If you’re hosting a Super Bowl party with kids around, or just planning to watch the game as a family at home, this is your sign to be intentional about a kids charcuterie board.
While adults (and yes, some adventurous kids!) might happily snack on brie, sharp cheddar, olives, figs, and pepper jelly, most kids will quietly pass that board by. And that’s okay. Kids like different “treat foods,” and if the adults get a whole beautiful board filled with their favorites, why shouldn’t the kids? A kids’ charcuterie board makes them feel included, excited, and way more likely to snack happily instead of asking for snacks every five minutes.

Now, back to the food! Here are some great options to mix salty, sweet, and a few fun surprises:
Mini Crackers or Pretzel Twists
Easy to grab and perfect for little hands. These give kids that crunchy, salty base they love and pair well with almost anything else on the board.
RITZ makes football shaped crackers if you are looking to dive into the theme!
Cheese Cubes or Cheese Sticks
Keep it simple with mild cheeses like Colby Jack, mozzarella, or cheddar. Cubes feel fun, and string cheese is always a win.
Pepperoni or Mini Sausages
Familiar, savory, and protein-packed. These feel “grown-up” enough to make kids feel special without being too bold.
Popcorn
Light, crunchy, and perfect for game watching. You can keep it plain or add a little seasoning for extra fun. We love this pack of mini popcorn seasoning to try! Kids will love trying them all to find their favorite.
Fruit Skewers or Fruit Cups
Grapes, strawberries, apple slices, or mandarin oranges add freshness and balance out all the salty snacks. Bonus points if you make them colorful.
Goldfish or Cheese Crackers
Classic, reliable, and always eaten first. They help fill in space on the board and make it feel full and inviting.
Mini Muffins or Donut Holes
A sweet treat that feels party-worthy but not too sugary. These disappear fast, so plan accordingly.
Chocolate Candies
What would a kid’s charcuterie board be without some chocolate on it! Make it festive and add some chocolate footballs!
Yoggies
Now a Probiotic Yoggie Snack (a fruit snack made with real fruit and covered with yogurt) might now sound like a kid’s treat, but our kids love them! Tasty, easy to eat, mess-free, and something you can feel good about after adding chocolate to the board!
Mini Bagel Bites or Pizza Rolls
Warm, cheesy, and basically guaranteed to disappear first. These make the board feel extra special and very Super Bowl–worthy.
PB&J Pinwheels or Sandwich Squares
Familiar flavors cut into fun shapes feel fancy without being unfamiliar. Great for picky eaters who want something filling.
Tortilla Chips with Mild Salsa or Queso
A fun “dip moment” just for kids. Keep it mild and spill-friendly, and maybe add a few napkins nearby.
Pigs in a Blanket
Small, dippable, and always a hit. These feel like a party food kids recognize and get excited about.
Mini Pancakes or Waffles
Unexpected but fun! Add a small cup of syrup or honey for dipping.
Apple Slices with Caramel Dip
Sweet, crunchy, and just a little indulgent. This is a great balance between treat and fruit.
Football Candy Bracelets
For a last fun and on-theme treat, add a bowl of football candy bracelets! This candy is always festive and very exciting for kids. Make sure you get enough for everyone!
A kids’ charcuterie board doesn’t have to be fancy; it just has to be thoughtful. When kids have their own board filled with foods they actually love, everyone wins: happier kids, fewer snack requests, and more time to enjoy the game (or at least the commercials).
