The Super Bowl is almost here! For many people, that means a whole lot of excitement over the game. For others (hello, me!), there is a bit more of a focus on the food. Super Bowl food is all about enjoyment!

We rounded up some of our favorite game-day snacks that are kid-friendly!

Top Game-Day Snacks

Velveeta Sausage Dip

This three-ingredient dip is always a favorite. Simply brown some sausage (pick however spicy you want it to be!), add a can of Rotel, and add the Velveeta cheese. It could not be simpler to make and is always a hit. Make nachos or simply have it out on its own!

One common problem when making a cheese-based dip is keeping it warm. Warm a cast iron in the oven before adding the dip, or keep it warm in a mini crockpot!

Pigs in a Blanket

Pigs in a blanket are a sure win for any kid! They are easy to make and easy to pop in your mouth during a game break. Simply half hot dogs (or mini sausages) and wrap them in croissant dough. Bake for as long as the package of croissant dough says, and you are good to go!

Vegetable Platter

Sometimes, half the battle in getting your kids to eat their vegetables is having them available! Put out a tray of carrots, celery, broccoli, and whatever else sounds good! Add in some ranch dip, hummus, or bean dip. You might be surprised how many veggies are eaten!

Puppy Chow

A Midwest classic! Not only is puppy chow delish, but it’s also a great snack to make with your kids. Any treat that involves melty chocolate, peanut butter, and shaking a bag is going to be a hit with kids of all ages. We love this recipe for puppy chow!

Football Rice Crispy Treats

A festive addition! Make your favorite rice crispy bars, but instead of pressing them into a pan, form them into the shape of a football! Once they cool down, have your kids help you decorate them with icing to look like footballs! You can also decorate them with your team’s colors.

Football Candy

Candy scattered on a table always goes over well. People can’t help but enjoy it when it’s so easy to grab (and tasty!) Order some chocolate-shaped footballs or football-shaped Reeses Peanut Butters.

Popcorn Seasoning

Change up your popcorn game! Super Bowl snacks are all about having fun. Make a big patch of popcorn and try out a bunch of different seasonings. We love this variety pack from Kernel Season’s. Everyone will love getting to try all the different flavors out.

Have a great game, ‘hood family!
