Spring is in the air! April is always a month that seems to bring a wave of new life into everything. Not only is the ground becoming green again, but there seem to be even more things happening in the area! Take in a Show
There are plenty of amazing shows going on this month in the Sioux Falls Area!
Look out, music lovers, Journey is coming to town! Journey will be in Sioux Falls for their Final Frontier Tour on April 6th to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
Wanting to nurture a love and appreciation of music in your kiddos? The South Dakota Symphony Orchestra is putting on a special 60 min show for Kids and Families on April 12th. This is a great introduction to the orchestra!
If you like comedy, make sure to check out the Nate Bargatze: Big Dumb Eyes tour coming to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on April 22nd.
Easter Events
Easter this year is on April 5th, and there are plenty of Easter Events happening in the Sioux Falls Area!
The Sioux Falls Zoo and Aquarium is putting on its annual Egg-Stravaganza on April 4th. This event is sponsored by The Sioux Falls Canaries, so make sure to get a picture with Cagey!
Great Shots is putting on its annual Easter Breakfast and egg hunt on April 4th. They will have tickets to the breakfast that morning, followed by an egg hunt at the Sanford Diamonds.
Check out the Egg Dash and Splash, put on by Sioux Falls Parks and Rec, at Spellerberg Park on April 4th. Enjoy age-group egg hunts, inflatables, and head inside for fun swimming (pass required for swimming).

Sports
April 10th-11th, head over to the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center to see PBR: Unleash the Beast! There is nothing quite like the PBR, so get ready to enjoy an experience like no other at the PREMIER Center!
Cheer on your Sioux Falls Stampede on April 4th for their last regular game of the season. Bonus for families-it’s kids night!
Family Events
If you are looking for free family fun, The Outdoor Campus is always a great place to look. On April 11th, they will be hosting an open-house style (no registration required) Super Saturday for Archery.
A new event coming to Sioux Falls this April is Sioux Purr Cats! This family-friendly event takes place at the Sioux Falls Convention Center and will have plenty of cats, fun, and more.
April 24th-26th, the 83rd Annual El Shrine Circus is back at the Sioux Falls Arena. Make sure to pick up a coupon for a free ticket if you plan to go with your elementary-aged children! Coupons can be found around town at area businesses (like ACE).
Party for the Planet will be taking place at Sertoma Park on April 25th. This event is in partnership with The Friends of the Big Sioux River, The Great Plains Zoo, and The Outdoor Campus. There is family fun, plus an opportunity to help with the clean-up of the Big Sioux in honor of Earth Day.
