Here’s what’s happening this March in the Sioux Falls Area.
St. Patricks’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day this year lands on a Tuesday, March 17th. For those of us in the Sioux Falls area, you get to kick off the celebration early! The 46th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Saturday, March 14th this year. Enjoy downtown and the Parade! The Parade starts at 2 pm.

Family Fun
Have you ever checked out a Toy Lending Library Box out from the Library and wondered about this amazing program? They are having an Open House on March 1st! The event is free (just like the boxes) and a great opportunity to have fun while learning about this amazing program.
Here in South Dakota, we are proud of living in an agricultural area! Celebrate Ag Day at the Washington Pavilion on the 7th March. This event is always fun for the whole family! You and your kids will love learning more about area agriculture from the dozens of booths.
Sioux Falls Community Ed is putting on a Health and Wellness Fair on March 10th. This date’s fair is located at JFK Elementary and will have more than 50 vendors.
Is there someone in your family who likes trains? The Greater Sioux Falls Model Train Show is March 21st-22nd here in Sioux Falls.

Sports
The Summit League Basketball Championships take place this month in Sioux Falls! The tournament begins on March 4th and goes through March 8th. The games are taking place at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
The NCAA Division 2 Men’s Wrestling Championship is taking place at The Denny Sanford PREMIER Center from March 13-14th.
Make sure to catch a Sioux Falls Stampede game before the regular season ends! Like the game against the Fargo Force on March 17th.
If you enjoy some hockey, the NCAA D1 Men’s Ice Hockey Regionals will be happening right here in Sioux Falls on March 26 & 28.
