Here’s what’s happening this March in the Sioux Falls Area.
St. Patricks’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day this year lands on a Monday, March 17th. For those of us in the Sioux Falls area, you get to kick off the celebration a day early! The 45th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade is on Saturday, March 15th this year. Enjoy downtown and the Parade! The Parade starts at 2 pm.

Family Fun
Have you ever checked out a Toy Lending Library Box out from the Library and wondered about this amazing program? They are having an Open House on March 1st! The event is free (just like the boxes) and a great opportunity to have fun while learning about this amazing program.
Here in South Dakota, we are proud of living in an agricultural area! Celebrate Ag Day at the Washinton Pavilion on the 22nd of March. This event is always fun for the whole family! Your kids and you will love learning more about area agriculture from the dozens of booths.

Do you live in Sioux Falls and have a child who loves chess or wants to learn? The City of Sioux Falls is hosting the Sioux Falls Chess Festival and City Championship on March 22. Your child, grades K-8th, can either learn how to play or compete.

Basketball
The Summit League Basketball Championships take place this month in Sioux Falls! The tournament begins on March 5th and goes through March 9th. The games are taking place at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
The Harlem Globetrotters will be in Sioux Falls this month! Take in an epic show at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center on March 13th. If this is an event you would love to attend, but the date just does not work for you, then head down to Sioux City for the Harlem Globetrotters on March 17th.
