Our Founder and President/Publisher here at ‘hood Magazine (click here to learn more about Steff!) does a Leprechaun Scavenger Hunt with her kids every year to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. It’s an activity they look forward to every year. So wear some green (we LOVE these green pj’s) and have a blast! 

Here are some ideas for you to create your own scavenger hunt for the kids. Print off this page and cut up the clues to hide around your house. Edit and customize to suit your family

Easter isn’t the only holiday with little treats/gifts! Grab some candy coins to use in your scavenger hunt or end the hunt with a Leprechaun book for those with younger kids.

Don’t forget to wear your Green today!  I have hidden some special treasures around the house! Here is a treasure hunt just for you!  Put on your special glasses to help you on your journey!! 

I have a special hat for you!  It is hidden in a place where we store lots of hats! 

Clue 2:

Great job on finding your hat!  Up next is a special plate you are going to need later!  Where would you find plates???

Clue 3:

Now, what should we put on these plates? I am thinking about something sweet and fun! I made a special treat! I was really sneaky last night and hid them where you sleep.   

Clue 4:

I have something else for your plate! It is something new to try!!  Did someone cut the cheese? Where would you find the cheese? 

Clue 5:

What about adding some Green Apples to go with our cheese?  Can you find two green Apples?

Clue 6:

I thought I would add some Green Pickles to your plate!  I hide them in a place where you would store them!  Where could that be? 

Clue 7:

What about some Pistachios to go with the plate?  I hid them where you get your teeth clean.

 Clue 8:

I have one last stop for you to find!  Have you seen a Green Pot of Candy Anywhere?  It is at the end of a rainbow?  Look where you go at the end of your day!
