Short on time? Would rather spend your time outside than in the kitchen? We have no shame in taking the easy way out when it comes time for bringing a festive dessert to this year’s gathering. This quick and easy treat is as yummy, fresh, and our little secret that it’s store bought.

Here is what you need:

Store bought angel food cake

Whipped cream

Fresh berries

To assemble, using a sharp knife slice your cake into three layers. Grab a festive tray or plate and layer your cakes using whipped cream and fresh berries between each layer. Add some extra berries on top and you are ready for the party!
