MCAP Kids Theatre Camp
If you’re looking for a fun, enriching experience for your child this summer, look no further than MCAP Kids Camp. Our week-long day camp provides kids ages 8-12 the chance to learn, connect and develop their creativity through theatre as they work to put together a short play. The experience culminates in a performance of that play for friends and family!
We’re partnering with local playwright H.E. Dunkle for the second year in a row to write us an original script for the camp. This year, MCAP Kids Camp presents The Girl on the Shore. A synopsis from the playwright:
“When Finley is taken from her home on the shore by Captain Montgomery’s crew, she has her work cut out for her. In order to get back home, she has to use a combination of quick wit, convincing conversation, and maybe a little magic. With sea shanties and sword fights, settle in for a tale about love, loyalty, and appreciating what’s right in front you.”
