The EMBES

The EMBES – A Tribute to Women celebrates the extraordinary contributions of individuals within our community. Since 1974, this event has highlighted those who exemplify EmBe’s mission and have made significant contributions. This year marks the 53rd anniversary of uplifting women and community members across nine different categories: Banking & Finance, Business Achievement, Community & Public Service, the EmBeliever Award, Healthcare & STEM, Outstanding Educator, Performing, Visual & Creative Arts, the Sylvia Henkin Mentoring Award, and Young Woman of Achievement.

As EmBe’s premier fundraiser, we invite everyone in the community to come and celebrate those making a positive impact in our area, while also donating to support the ongoing work of EmBe. The funds raised during this event directly contribute to uplifting children, youth, and women through our education and workforce development programs. This year, mother-daughter duo Charisse and Ivy Oland will be leading the evening as we honor the incredible efforts happening in our community!
