Wild About Science: Turtles and Tortoises

This winter, let curiosity run wild! In collaboration with the Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium, our Wild About Science series brings live animals and family fun together one Saturday a month from November through March.

Slow and steady wins the day! Get up close with turtles and tortoises as you learn about their shells, habitats and surprising abilities. The Wild About Science series brings these amazing reptiles to life with hands-on activities, live animal encounters and expert insights from the Great Plains Zoo and Butterfly House & Aquarium.
