On April 8th (Monday), Those of us in the Sioux Falls Area will have the opportunity to witness this awe-inspiring phenomenon. While the total eclipse won’t be visible from Sioux Falls, we’re still in for a partial eclipse, which promises to be a captivating sight. The peak coverage of the sun here in the Sioux Falls Area is predicted to be around 77%.
Remember, the eclipse will last for several hours, so plan accordingly and ensure you have enough time to enjoy the show. The start of the eclipse will look like a little bite has been taken out of the sun, with our peak here being around 77% covered, and then back to a bite out of the sun!
