DESCRIPTION:We are thrilled to be hosting the 30th Annual ArtSplash, a 2-day event, this coming Labor Day Weekend, August 31 and September 1, 2024!\nSaturday, August 31st: 10:00am-5:00pm\nSunday, September 1st: 10:00am-5:00pm\nWe can’t wait to see everyone again at the Downtown Art Center Campus. All your favorite festival folks will be there, food trucks, music and entertainment, face painting, balloon, and all the things you love about ArtSplash will be happening.\nSpecial this year, FREE Kids Art Activities!\nFeatured Art:\nRazzle Dazzle.\nUsing fabric collected from dozens of recycled, donated, or locally sourced origins, Amanda Browder has worked directly with Siouxland volunteers and artists during locally hosted Public Sewing Days to construct a brightly colored monumentally sized textile sculpture that will be draped over the of the Sioux City Art Center building. The resulting piece will display the work and process of creating a large-scale fabric installation, but, even more importantly, it will represent the diverse community that built the piece.
